Cahan Tobacco International LLC participated in the 2021 WTME International Tobacco Exhibition held in Dubai, UAE on October 26-27 in order to strengthen its export potential, increase foreign exchange inflows to the country and support the local economy.
At the exhibition, which was attended by 21 UAE companies and the Tobacco Industry, more than 20 types of tobacco products produced by Cahan Tobacco International LLC, representing Azerbaijan under the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand, were presented.
After a 26-year hiatus, the revival of tobacco traditions in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is the result of successful reforms. Today, tobacco products based on local raw materials compete with world-famous brands.
The stand of "Cahan Tobacco International" at the exhibition was met with interest and attracted the attention of exporters.
It should be noted that the Middle East World Tobacco International Exhibition is organized to establish business relations between local tobacco producers, and the products and services of the Indonesian, Asian and Australian tobacco industry are presented in the east. The exhibition, which is attended by more than 250 international suppliers, is considered an ideal opportunity to enter the ever-expanding markets in the East, as well as in the United Arab Emirates.
The fact that tobacco products produced in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic are taken to such international exhibitions and welcomed is a sign of the high level of development of tobacco growing and its positive impact on our economy.

For the third time, Cahan Tobacco International participated in the "InterFood" exhibition, which is one of the most important meeting places for leading manufacturers of food, tobacco and other food products from more than 20 countries of the world.
Tobacco production plays significant role in industry, especially in agriculture. In the Nakhchivan AR, tobacco planting areas are expanding from year to year, which contributes to the development of the tobacco industry in Azerbaijan.
"InterTabac" is an exhibition that presents the world's largest tobacco companies, more than 500 tobacco companies from all over the world participated in the "InterTabac" exhibition this year.
Tobacco Agronomy Center owned by CTI has begun to grow tobacco in the Nakhchivan AR in 2017, based on the State Program for the Development of Tobacco Production in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2017-2021 approved by President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
